Hi! I am Seema. I have been an Occupational Therapist for the last twenty seven years. I am a wife and  a mother of two teenagers and now a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals. Organizing has been one of my hobbies since childhood. I think I got it from my father and grandmother who always said, "Everything should have a place and it should be found there, so life is easier". While working as an Occupational Therapist in various rehab departments in hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies, I realized I could combine my skill and knowledge of body mechanics, exercise physiology, compensatory strategies, home assessments and modifications; with my passion for organizing, and help those struggling with this.  It also ingrained in me client privacy which I value very much. I could help clients of all age groups.  In reality we all are capable of organizing without help from a professional like me.  But some of us just can't do it for varied reasons, like lack of time, procrastination/overwhelm about the clutter, lack of aptitude for organizing, just hating to do it, or choosing to rather spend time doing something they enjoy. All of these reasons are valid. There could also be physical or mental limitations which could lead to a disorganized lifestyle. In these Covid times, when all are using their homes for multifunctional purposes, organization and space reinvention is needed more than ever. Many seniors are now forced to figure living in their home alone, without much external help. I feel as if I owe it to society to carry forward my knowledge and skills through my business venture to help them lead an calm, serene, organized life.
